Hello everyone! My name is Heather I was on the CnQ board. Glad we have this one! I have one chinchilla her name is PoppyBoo. She is a mosaic chin. Got her in April 08 when she was 7 months. She came from CL. I always wanted a chin since I was a little girl but I knew to wait as with all of my pets the are my forever babies until they pass away. So when hubby and I bought our home I couldnt wait to get a chin.People on CL sold her to me for $50 and she has been worth every penny. I knew I had to get her because they had her in a 4ft long glass aquarium, no ledges of course, crappy plastic wheel nailed to wood and crappy food! Good thing that she was handled alot and she is very friendly.Poppy was very happy to trade in that junk food for Oxbow and she wouldnt let me slowly change her food throwing the crap pellet to the floor!
I am also a mommy to a Pembroke Welsh Corgi ( my fav breed) and a 50/50 lab aussie shep mix, that looks like a flat-coated retriever. Also have 1 cat who stays away from chin because Poppy keeps her supply of spear-ended apple branches handy! and I am a mommy to a 5yr little girl.
