Here is Sissy and Tiny. Tiny is a sapphire, missing her back leg and Sissy is a standard missing her front paw. I got them on CL. Here is their first playtime:dance3: I have only had them for 2 days now, and they have a long way to come.

The last picture is their temporary cage set up.

Poor dears. They must think they have gone to heaven. They look rough. Can't wait to see update pictures in the future. :congrats1:

They are pretty sad looking that is for sure, and what are the chances of you getting two chins who are both missing a leg; strange. I'm so glad you have them now Tara and know they'll flourish in your care. Love the names Sissy & Tiny as well. Very lucky girls. :))

Even in just 2 days they look so much happier! Congratulations again Tara. :))

They sure do Sandi! Their fur looks better already! Now just to get weight on Tiny and Sissy!:dance3:

They already had a vet visit, did that the day after I got them.

Those poor chins! Do you have any idea how old they are? I'm so happy that you were able to take them and make life right for them again. I bet they are two happy chins right now, and will finally know what it is like to be cared for properly and spoiled! Congrats!!!

awww......they are so sweet looking.........so happy they are with you now. i am sure they are lovin' life now. thank you for saving them. cant wait to see the after pictures in a month or so.

They aer about 4 and 1 1/2

Sissy was said to have chewed her paw off after a cage fell on it? And Tiny lost her leg after birth via vet because it was so broken.

Here are thier first day here shots

Heartbreaking. :cry3:

BUT, they're with you now so all is well in my happy little world again, lol.

I have never seen chins in such poor shape. :( They must think they are in heaven now. I can't wait to see what some food, dust and lovin' will do to them.

I put disinfectant wash on their ears and feet and their ears needed it. I will put something on them later to keep them from being so dry. I hope they dont mind!

I'm really happy that these girls found you. Poor little bubs, very thin and scruffy looking, but I'm sure you'll get them fattened up and beautified soon! They won't even remember life before living with you, I bet. :)

Wow - How could anybody look at those and not realize how piss poor the care was that they were given? Surely they didn't look like that when they got them.

I would keep a close eye on them and give lots and lots of hay. They are just so thin it would worry me about giving them too much too soon (good quality pellet wise). I think I would almost act as though I was doing a food switch - 1 teaspoon for a few days, then 2 teaspoons, etc.

Good luck with them Tara. I can see why you wouldn't have been able to let them go by. :(

They look like such loves. They probably think they are in chinnie heaven. Give them a scritch for me. I'm so happy you took them in. that last photo of them in the bath is too cute.

It really upsets me to say this, but I've come to the conclusion that some of the worst kept chinchillas out there are in the 'care' of pet owners. :vomit:
