Hello everyone:
My name is Garren LaFond.
I live in Baltimore, Maryland.
I got two chinchillas from my local breeder. They were bonded well together, but one had a tooth issue, my breeder allowed me to return the one with tooth issue, but I felt bad leaving the other by himself. I ended up returning both of them Monday (yesterday).
She replaced them with two others, but she hinted that I shold take all four that were in that particular cage.
I asked her what it would take to leave with all four of the little guys. She went on to ask me how much I spent at the vet, I told her, she proceded to say, just take all four.
I was astonished and happy at the same time. My breeder surely is the best!
So, I am the proud new dad (and my fiance is the proud new mom) of four, four month old boys. One standard, one standard violet carrier, one brown velvet, and one white ebony.
So far we have only named the brown velvet, his name is Milk Dud.
As for the others, we are still working on that!
I am sure I will have fun and learn a lot here, this seems like a really great forum.
