New member and hedgie owner

Last Sunday I became the proud owner of a hedgehog. One of my friends' son had been going through some hard times. Had less time to spend with his hedgehog and decided to find him a new home. My friend instantly contacted me and I took him. Most of my pets are rescues from shelters or owners who no longer wanted their pets. Most of them were neglected and/or abused. Or simply, had adequate care and nothing more. This was different. I felt bad taking him. Fulci is his name, he is an albino hedgehog. The owner said he got him from a breeder and paid $300 for him. He came in a HUGE cage, with carefresh bedding, a big solid wheel, he's eating Royal Canin kitten food, he is socialized and handled a lot. He was a great owner. Its harder taking a pet from a good owner than a bad one. But we are keeping in contact, I send him pictures and video and stories. I've had a sugar glider before. I've also worked as a rescue for big cats and other exotics. I have like 20 pets. But hedgehogs, I never read about them a lot. So I took a crash course. His previous owner told me about this place too.

2 dogs - A German Shepherd/Akita/Chow mix and a German shepherd/Sheltie mix
2 cats - Sphynx and Persian
2 snakes - Corn and a yellow rat
3 Dumbo rats
1 Netherlands Dwarf rabbit
7 turtles - 5 red ear and 2 yellow bellied
3 mice
1 parrotlet
1 Netherlands dwarf rabbit
Some tropical fish in a 55 gal tank.

And now 1 hedgehog
