I saw this little boys cage offered for a $75 fee, and then as an afterthought, oh yeah, you can get the chinchilla for free too, if you want him. I kind of freaked out. What if they didn't want it? What if the owners just tossed it out if the purchasers didn't want it. And how bad is the condition he is in if the owner throws him in with the cage as a "freebie"
So when I explained all this to my husband, he said ok, But this is the last one (Deja Vu?) So we drove up to get this "wonderful" cage and the poor little guy. The cage is, but everything inside it is plastic and getting chewed on. So my husband and I will be spending another weekend reconfiguring a cage.
But anyway, Little Goober (as my son's have decided to call him), is what I believe to be a hetero beige. He has the freckly ears and the not fully one color coat. Let me know what you guys think of the name, the color, and any other advice you have.
He will of course, be kept seperate from the 3 girls. We are working out how cut 3 cages down to two with one male thrown in the mix.
Here's the pic. That's the best I could get.
