I posted a while back about Fluffy- I was worried she was sick.
I had taken her to the vet, She checked out fine, despite my worries. The vet said that she probably would benefit from a friend to keep her company. Her fur is just about grown back in, too! I'm very pleased about that.
She's acting just fine. I think I just got paranoid after losing my baby, Joo. Anyway, I decided to get her a new cage-- a Ferret Nation. Lucky for me, A flyer popped up at a local Pet store a week ago, for a two story FN in Perfect Condition, for $130. I did get that cage, and she's very happy in it. I built many new pine shelves, a new hay holder, and I'm building her a few new houses, too.
I also ordered some new stuff for her cage, from Camphor Chins-- Any feed back on them? Hopefully the stuff will arrive for her cage soon.
She's REALLY enjoying her new cage, I'm so excited for her! I also cooled down my room quite a bit for her, it's down to 67F now. I put my Cold air return cover back on, so I could open it up and get some more circulation, as well as put a baby gate up so I can leave the door open more.
I'm now looking for a new friend for her, though I tried a local rescue here-- they don't adopt chins out to homes where chins co-exist. I can respect that, I guess. I don't worry about it, because if they don't get along, then they just live separate! No biggie... So I need to look elsewhere. That's the only local rescue.
I'm in SE MI, and I can travel a long way if anybody knows anybody with an unwanted female chin. I'll be watching the classifieds.
Anyway, Pics of the FN when my new stuff comes!
