Hi, I was building a new cage using pine board and melamine board for our two chinchillas.
probably I spent more for the materials than buying a cage, but oh well...
I've finished the cage's outer shell, and first two floors.
the "basement" where I will put their sand bath,
and the "First floor" where i will put shaving and also exercise wheel.
I have not put any shelves for them to jump around, but before I install them, i have a question.
I'm planning to buy flying saucer for them since their current wheel from fortunate chins is getting bit squeaky.
(their wheel was great, and lasted a year and half. for the price, i still think it is a great deal!)
anyways, the question is, how much space (Hight and width, depth) should i reserve for the flying saucer? (btw, is the standard size saucer would be good for adult chins, or is large one would be better?)
I will post the picture of the cage soon!
