Hey everyone! My little sis is having Bunco night the end of March and I'm tired of making spinach dip all the flipping time! My mom always makes queso dip and I bring spinach dip and it's getting B O R I N G--anybody got some good dips recipes I can try?!

I always LOVE "7-layer dip"...sometimes mine has 7 layers, sometimes it doesn't! LOL Layer refried bean, sour cream (you can mix in taco seasoning to give it a little kick), guacomole, salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and shredded cheddar cheese. Serve with tortilla chips! I'm not a big fan of meat, so mine doesn't have any, but you could probably make a layer of ground beef cooked in taco seasoning.

There's a crab dip that's really easy--let a brick or two of cream cheese warm up until you can easily spread it on a small plate or serving platter. Spread a small layer of cocktail sauce, then top with crab or krab--whatever you prefer!

Let us know what you end up making! I LOVEEEEEE dips. :dance3:

I usually just put softened cream cheese on the bottom, chili on top, heated and then add shredded cheese and serve with nachos.

I go for the 7-Layer Dips also, this is a really good recipe:

Ultimate 7-Layer Dip

1 can (16 oz.) TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Refried Beans
1 Tbsp. TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Taco Seasoning Mix
1 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
1 cup TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Thick 'N Chunky Salsa
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup KRAFT Mexican Style Shredded Cheese
1/2 cup sliced green onions
2 Tbsp. sliced pitted ripe olives
RITZ Toasted Chips Original or WHEAT THINS Baked Snack Crackers
Make It!

MIX beans and taco seasoning mix. Spread onto bottom of 9-inch pie plate or quiche dish.

LAYER all remaining ingredients except chips over bean mixture; cover. Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.

SERVE with chips.

My specialty is spinach dip, but it is a hot version. I got this out of the newspaper and my grandmother who doesn't try anything new always requests that I bring it for our holiday meals, lol.
The best part is that it takes about 5 minutes to throw it all together and then just bake it until melty and bubbly.

Spinach Dip with a Kick

* 2 boxes frozen creamed spinach (thawed)
* 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar-jack cheese
* 8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
* 1 can chopped green chillies (drained)
* 1 tsp minced dried onion
* 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
* Tostitos corn tortilla chips (small white corn rounds)

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix all ingredients except 1/2 cup of the cheese and chips.
3. Place in a shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
4. Bake 20 minutes or until bubbly. Serve hot with chips.

mm these all sound so good!

I always take the easy way out and use Tastefully Simple too. But they are usually very yummmmmy.

I know this is probably too late, however, i'll shre a simple, but great recipe that we love.

Ingredents:
8 oz. of cream cheese
1 can(10 oz) of mild rotel tomatoes
1 lb of jimmy dean sausage(comes in a tube)

All you have to do is brown/cook the sausage in a skillet and do not drain grease(yes, very healthy for you:eek:  ). Add cream cheese and tomatoes(drained) and heat. This is an awesome dip for tortilla chips and is an all time favorite here and everyone just loves it!

OOOH Emily we always have that one! We eat it with fritos! I brought Cortney's dip and it was delicious! I also brought guacamole as avocadoes are cheap right now! It was a good dip night!
