plz help me , what wrong with my chinchilla , he's poop and play eating normally

He slipped his fur. This is a normal thing for a chinchilla to do. It is their defense mechanism where they will release their fur when grabbed too hard or frightened. From that slippage I'd say you hugged him too hard, he got scared and slipped fur.

no i didnt scare him , it not slipped fur at i hugged him
9 AM he's normally , at 10 PM he's in the cage i see it patch fur

what's going on with my chinchilla ??? he's 1+ year old

T_T i wanna know why he have that patch fur shed

Whether you think you scared him or not, that's slipped fur. A car driving by can scare him. The wind blowing can scare him. The phone ringing can scare him. It isn't just about you touching him or being near him. He can be scared by anything under the sun and you'll most likely never figure out what it was.

By the way, no, most chins do NOT like it when you "hug" them. They tend to overheat and be miserable. So yes, it most likely happened when you hugged him.

I've had mine slip fur when he got it caught on something in the cage. Check over the cage and see if there is something he might have gotten tangled up in. The good news is the fur will grow back.

I already answered you, you won't get different information with clearer pictures of an area that he has slipped fur. Even if the fur did not come off IMMEDIATELY after you hugging him, it more than likely happened then. They let the fur go, they don't throw it as a projectile off their bodies so it could be there for hours afterward as a loose hunk of fur and come off while they are moving about in their cages. You do not have a mysterious illness on your hands, it is slipped fur.

Fur slips happen and Oscar came to us with one on his tail. It didn't mean he was abused or mishandled just that something happened to scare him It took a while but did grow back.

how many time he did grow back new fur ?

he's really have no mysterious illness ?

thank everybody so so so much

i'm feed him on my hand everydays , hug for feed , he's always follow and jump to me , just like a habit of his , i think he not scare me when i hug

i'm so happy if he's really have no mysterious illness

The others who've answered are experts and I agree too though I am no where near an expert. I've notice if you hold a chinchilla still this is not natural for them so any sound while holding them can scare them even if they trust you. In a few months the fur will grow back but otherwise if just fine.

on the same occassion , can u teach me how to train my chinchilla stop bite wall and that act will not make sick ???

thank very much

Put cardboard up maybe so they chew that instead? I really would find a way to keep the chinchilla from the wall because they aren't easily trained and it could make them sick. I let my guys play in a playpen to keep them safe.
