Need help new chinchilla owner!

im getting 2 female chins ( so they dont fight or something) and i ve been searching in many sites the last few days but i cant find a site that shows all the information about taking care of a chicnhilla :banghead: . So i would like to know every thing there is to know about them from first week at home untill toys... :bump1:

There is too much information to know for someone to spoon feed it to you all in one post. Read through our New Chin Owner FAQ's and many of the basic questions are answered there.

Pretty much everything you need to know you can find out on this forum. You don't need to search around other sites. Here is a link to the FAQ section:

Start there, read every FAQ, make a list of supplies needed, etc. Then start in the new chin owner section and read all the posts. Every question you have, every concern, has already been asked and answered on this forum. Just work your way through the forums, through the posts, and you'll do great. If you can't find something in all that reading, feel free to post it and we'll do our best to answer it.

The biggest thing I will tell you, especially if your flag is correct for location (and, of course, even if it's not) is find a vet NOW, before you get your chins. We're finding that more and more folks who are not in the US are learning the hard way that veterinary care is not all it should be and they end up losing their chins because of it. Before you get your chins, find a chin experienced vet.
