I have to say that I think my Ferret Nation cages are worth every penny. It's kind of expensive to get it set up but once you do you won't ever have to worry about getting another cage unless you get more chinchillas. It makes cleaning a breeze as well. Wish I had gotten good cages for my birds the first time around because I ended spending more when we upgraded to cages that worked better for everyone.

I agree with everyone...I love my Ferret Nation cage. Thought it was super expensive at the time I bought it, but my chinnie loves it more every day.

I completely relate to not wanting to spend hundreds of dollars on a cage, but if you get a poorly made flimsy one, you'll just end up replacing it soon. FNs seem sturdy to me and will probably out live your chin.

Look at it this way--depending on how old your chins are, you may need that cage for up to two decades. Like Jazicat said, might as well buy one that you know will last so you won't waste any more money down the road.

I agree with everyone above me. I bought two 'decent' cages for about $85 each for my boys but I finally bit the bullet and bought a FN and cant believe I wasted $170 on the cages I bought when for a mere $30 more I could have had a FN cage from the very beginning!

Mine is very well built and sturdy (like they all are). Its super easy to clean, and your girls will have a mansion you can modify to their liking and offer them large amounts of room to play.

(Anyone want to buy a slightly used cage for travel or to put thier little guys in while cleaning? ;) )
