aaaaaak Gorgeous not gorgous! Please also excuse the horrible green paint on the walls, used to be my teenage daughter's room until I did some room shuffling after my other daughter got married and made this my craft room. Wasn't able to paint walls because I had my hand in a cast half the summer.

Wow, great pictures! Thanks for sharing them with us! And don't worry, the green walls aren't even noticeable, we're all gonna focus on the chinnies in the picture anyway!

Thank you for the kind words. We are really enjoying them. Had a lot of fun taking Gracie to the show last week, even if somebody (no names mentioned) may have overgroomed her a tad. She would have done so much better had she not been darn near naked since she is a nice large chinchilla with really good conformation. Better luck next time eh. Judge even recommended what type of male to breed her to.

Nice chins. Could be the flash washing her out, but Hayley doesn't look like a dark ebony to me - she looks more like a light to medium. Don't worry I am usually afraid I will over groom too and usually end up under grooming...

They look sweet. I agree...Hayley doesn't look like a dark ebony. Nor does Gracie look like an Extra Dark. Could be the flash.
Don't blame someone else for your chin not doing that well in the show. It is what it is...

Lol, that someone was ME, not blaming anyone else. It was my first time at a show, second time grooming and I got a little to carried away. Next time I will do a better job.

Was invited by the Craners to go down to the Northern Ca show in January but sadly have to turn it down. Would love to be able to attend and learn more.

It was the flash on my camera phone that caused them to look like they are different colours. Gracie has a very nice extra dark ebony pelt. Hayley is somewhere between a medium and a dark.
