My one year anniversary

My husband bought me the cockatoo for our one year wedding anniversary of July 3rd (and I made lots of promises...lol) so I was SO surprised when he had a bag ready for me and told me we are going on a little trip! He even had our pet sitter in on it and had her come while I was at work to meet the bird and learn how to care for him since the bird is new and she had not met him yet. She has birds, so I knew it would be fine.

He brought me to Orlando and to the first hotel we ever stayed at together. He knows I don't feel so great with my rib issues, so we just relaxed by the pool, went to disney for half a day and saw the fireworks. It was great to just get away for awhile and relax, and just spend time with my amazing husband who has been with me this whole year, while I was pretty much sick or had a broken rib, or appendicitis the whole time we were married! He never left my side and has been my rock. He truly is my better half. Anyway, just had to share a sweet gushy story.

Yeah, he is great! I left for Spain for a summer abroad a few weeks after we met. He called me every single night while I was in Spain, and sent me the biggest arrangement of pink lilies I have ever seen. At least 100 flowers. Two men had to carry it to my room, and the vase itself was so heavy I could not fill it with water!

He sent a teddy bear too. I found out later the flowers cost him $400! It was so big it barely fit in my hotel room. People actually came by to see how pretty it was. That was the kicker, when I was in Spain, partying and having a blast, summer abroad, and all I wanted to do was get back to the hotel room and talk with him. He would call every night, I don't even want to know what his phone bill was! I bought him the new i phone he has been so excited about, but I can never repay him for how amazing he is. I think I like the phone too...I can check the forum while in the car!

Well HE is the lucky one! You are vibrant and beautiful and the second Damian laid eyes on you he knew he had to snatch you up before someone else did! I'm so glad you had a nice time away. I really wish you were feeling better.
