My first B babies!

My sweet mosaic, Wilma, gave birth on the 23rd to a set of twins. Their father is a medium tan named Wile E. The first kit is named Martha and she is a tan, the second kit is Jonathan and he is a medium ebony. Martha weighed in at 51 grams and Jonathan at 52. These two are so rambunctious! My first hint that they had arrived was when I walked past the door to the chin room and saw a gray streak dart across the cage and up under mom.

I am glad it all turned out well, too. I was starting to get worried. Wilma had been acting ready to give birth for over a month. She was hanging out on the bottom of the cage and sleeping a lot. She would also sit there and squeak for no apparent reason. I am guessing that those little stinkers were kicking the crap out of her from inside.
