Here is a picture of my granddaughter with her good buddy, Fly the Border Collie. Also, check out Ruby, my Pug's cute butt.
Now a picture of my little dogs. They are referred to as 'the babies', 'the girls' or 'the littles'. Of course, 'the girls' could refer to my chinnies, the piggies or the little dogs. You have to take it in context. LOL
In nice weather I take the dogs to a 2 mile nature trail behind some soccer fields. It's very tall grass with a path mowed through it. Since it's usually about 8 am on a weekday morning, I'm usually there alone and I let the dogs off leash to run and run and run. Fly and Star, the Papillon, usually go crashing through the grass and are way ahead of me even though they look back over their shoulder on occasion to make sure I didn't get lost. To see where the heck Ruby is, I usually have to look behind me because she is perpetually following me. Whether it's a trip to the bathroom, to the laundry room, to the kitchen to cook dinner or a 2 mile hike, she's two steps behind me at all times.
