My chinchilla ate tape

I wouldn't consider this a major issue, but my chin somehow found a strip of tape on the floor and ate it. I tried pulling it from her, but she ran away from me. I only managed to get part of it. Is she in any immediate danger?

Is your chin eating, drinking and pooping normally? The danger would be that the tape gets stuck inside chin causing her not to be able to poop, and won't eat. This will cause bloat and later stasis if not treated. I would keep an eye on her to make sure her digestive system is normal, if you fear it's not then a vet and X-rays will be needed.

I would watch her for a few days to make sure nothing changes.

It can take a few days for it to cause a problem so you need to keep an eye on the chin's output, appetite and behavior for a few days, not just one day.
