They hiss and charge and bite all the time now and they won't eat their hay they only pee on it. What should I do? Do they need girlfriends or something?
absolutely not - no girlfriends. You don't need the hassle of breeding - just search here to see the heartbrakes of breeding and you would need 3 more cages. You are going to have to separate them - either in 2 separate cages (side by side with a litlle space between) or divide your existing cage into 2 sections. You can try after a week or so letting them play outside the cage and see what happens
They have timmy hay its oxbow brand and they don't hurt each other they more protect each other. I wouldn't breed them I'd try to find spayed females. They charge my husband and me and they weren't so bad before. They would let us hold them and everything before now they're just mean. And they're three years old.
