After 5 trips, 50 miles one-way, everythings at the new location!20 years of accumulated furniture, clothes, and auto parts/toolsbecomes just too much! Time to reduce, but no one's buying antiquesin this economy, and I've about 20 pieces that could go.

Last trip were the chins [30] and their cages, and it went exceptionallywell! 8 of those carriers I made a couple of years ago were in the front seat of the truck between my son and I, without a problem. Since we didn't get backuntil about 3 AM, they stayed in the carriers until about 7, in the basement, when I got up and started unloading and setting-up the cages.
The chins love it!! Never before saw them 'popcorning' in the cage!
Basement is about 30 X 50, dry as a bone, 67 degrees, well lit, and perfect!
More than enough room for the 4 dogs - property was a dog-sitters for a couple of years - 5ft. high fence in the back 40 X 80ft.!
I think I'll stay forever!

Glad you, the family, and the chins made it safe. Sounds like a wonderful home. You'll have to show us some pics of the chin room when it's set up.

I still gotta figure out where to divide everything off according to the light fixtures, outlets and ductwork - 2 x 4's, 3 doors and some panelling shouldn't be too expensive!
Time and tools I've got!

And why is it everyone has something for sale, in an area where I used to live, and do not live anymore? ;) I love antiques and love antiquing but have nowhere to go down here! :(
