My mother-in-law passed away 3 1/2 years ago from Pancreatic Cancer at the age of 46.
I saw a bracelet online, and asked my talented jewelry making mother to tweak it a bit.
She used purple and clear Swarovski crystals. Purple is the color for Pancreatic Cancer and her birthstone was diamonds (hence the use of the clear crystals).
This is going to be a mother's day gift for her mom (hubby's grandma). I thought it turned out beautifully.

It's beautiful! I know your hubby's grandmother is going to cherish it especially since it was handmade by family. Your mom did a great job.

Laura this is stunning! I feel I should have one with pink and a breast cancer ribbon! Pancreatic cancer is a very painful cancer, I lost someone I loved to it a few years ago. I think this is a gorgeous bracelet, and when your husband's grandmother wears it I hope it gives her treasured memories of the daughter she lost, and hope for a cure in the future!

PS--so your mom makes jewellry and my mom is decorator extradonaire--why did we get left out??! what the heck!

That bracelet is beautiful, as is the thought behind it. We lost our sister-in-law to cancer almost 2 years ago. She was a wonderful mother and wife, and an amazing, caring, kind, human being.
