Oh my goodness!! That was way too cute! You need to add a cuteness warning!!!!! (My dogs loved the noises that the baby made too)

As Ash said this was just a baby doing some cleaning and grooming. Most likely he was shaking as he hasn't quite got his balance down yet standing up on two legs.

:FR:
Awwww, I've only ever seen pictures of babies, so it's SO much fun to see them moving about. Catch all of their cuteness on video!

ChinLover, what kind of camera do you use?

I use a Canon S95, and capture at 720p. I use it over my standard digital camcorder because it has an f/2.0 lens which is excellent for low light conditions or shallow depth-of-field. This allows for great close-up videos of the kits indoors, even in the evenings without any direct light source. Chinchillas look best under natural lighting ;)

Here's a video I took of the kits inside their house, which was pretty dark.. but the video turned out pretty well:

ok, i've had my cute fix for the day! that was awesome!

i loved when momma came barging in, 'hey! i didn't sign no waiver for my kids to be on camera!' hahahaha!

I love your videos, but had to also mention that the mom should NOT be getting nuts. They aren't safe, or healthy for chinchillas. They are way too high in fat.

:babydust: <----didn't know if that was appropriate, seeing as how they're not human babies, but I thought I'd use it anyway.....that and there's no, "Awww" smilie, ;)
