more snow..........

SO here in my area of Jersey they are predicting another 12 - 18 inches.
I like the snow, so I am excited. My son was supposed to have 1/2 day for conferences, and they kept it at 1/2 day but cancelled conferences.
I kept him home anyway. And he will probably have off tomorrow.

Any ideas to keep a 9 year old boy busy!! He is playing wii right now, and we have a movie to watch, plus we will bake come cupcakes later. Wanted to do a craft with him.......just something to have him not watch tv & play video games for the next few days!

my area of jersey is supposed to get the same amount of snow, ugh! i'm in north jersey. problem is i have to stay at my boyfriends house all day because his parents are away and we need to manage the fort and make sure the dogs are fed and out. that means i have to be away from my chinnies today :tantrum: my mom is watching them all day and shes great with them, but i almost started crying knowing i might not see them till tomorrow! is that bad? :wacko: haha anyway, to keep your son busy..how bout collages? if he likes to build or anything maybe he can make up his own buildings with pictures from magazines and put them together, i always do that with kids i babysit and they seem to like it :dance3: good luck!

My 8-year old is a Lego brick and Bionicle addict so there is always something to do here ). He really likes board games too, Monopoly is currently his favorite, he has a little dance he calls the "rich dance" when he gets lots of money lol. He could also play in the snow! Have a fun Snow Day!

haha thats true barb, a good way to keep a 9 year old busy! i want spring too, there has been way too much snow this winter :impatient:
