Mom still bleeding?

Hah, second question today!

So my chinchilla Blossom had her babies six days ago. A short while after she gave birth, I noticed slimy blood coming from her bottom. I didn't notice any more until this morning... More slimy blood. It's not just blood, it's... slightly slimy. Forgive my gross example, but it looks like bloody snot! It was oozing. It wasn't a lot... But is it normal? Even after six days? This is her first time giving birth, and she gave birth to three babies. Do I need to take her to the vet?

I would get her to the vet ASAP, she may have an infection.

Okay! Thank you. I scheduled an appointment for tomorrow. The lady said she would also ask the doc what he thought about it. We just checked her again and it looks like she has a cut down there... Do you think one of the kits could have bitten her? Or is she still healing from giving birth?
