So sadly, one of my cats has gone missing. I haven't seen my Angel in about 3 weeks. She's an outdoor cat by choice(doesn't like the indoor cats so she wont come in) but she was always home everyday, hung around the driveway etc. but nobody has seen her in 3 weeks roughly so I am worried she is gone for good. Checked the animal control and walked the streets, found nothing. But for roughly the same amount of time, this stray cat been hanging around. It sleeps on the back deck or in our driveway. It barely ever leaves. It was so skiddish, ran away from everyone. Well for these 3 weeks I been giving it cat treats, feeding it etc. and today he finally let me pet him. He's still scared, and I am a little nervous around him too because I don't trust a cat that isn't mine, but hopefully he continues to hang around to be fed/loved. I don't think he has a home. He's missing part of his ear from fighting, and I think his tail is broke, not neutered, so pretty sure he's a stray.

I am so sorry to hear about Angel. :( Could it be that she won't come home because the other she doesn't like other cats and he is hanging around the house?

He has stunning eyes.

His ear could be snipped due to a trap and release program. Hopefully he warms up enough that you can check. I hope Angel comes back and isnt truly gone for good :(

Our rescue for feral cats only notches the top of the ear like that if the animal is fixed but it does look like the notch Jasmine has. She was a feral cat for six months, fostered by a very kind person and adopted by my husband and I. We've had her for 14 years and she won't go outside without a fight so she doesn't.

I hope the boy stays around for love and care and that your other kitty surprises you by coming home.

I know the shelters/animal people around her snip off the top of the ear if they catch/neuter/release a stray.

In any case, he is adorable and I absolutely love his eyes!

Good luck finding your Angel...

One of our outdoor cats disappeared for almost a month a while ago, and then one evening she just turned up on our porch, happy and purring. Don't count Angel out just yet!!
