I was wondering if anyone has bought chinchillas from Mike Attard at LA Chins and could tell me about his reputation as a breeder. He used to be based in Orange County, but has since moved to Anza, CA.

I don't know if he shows chins or not, but he is a nice man. As far as I know everyone says he is helpful and a good person to go to for pet chinchillas. RDZC (Tabitha) would definitely know more than I do since she's in CA.

I purchased my 1st 2 chins from him. He doesn't show any more. I remember I got lost going to his house. He is a nice man.

Mike is very nice and a great breeder to go to for a friendly, pet chinchilla. He does not show his chinchillas anymore but I have a few very nice violets from his lines and most of his herd does come from Bowen lines.

I just bought a mosaic baby chinchilla from Mike. He is such a nice and helpful gentleman. He showed me a lot of his adult and baby chinchillas. I'm not a breeder, and I know nothing about color lines. But all his chinchillas are so beautiful and in many different colors. Although it's a bit difficult to find his house, it's worth it. He told me that he's got more 100 babies coming up.
