Well, we found a horse, he's exactly not what we were looking for in most senses!

A friend of my SIL owes/owned him, he is four, and she has been on him a couple times, we went to see a different horse of hers for sale and fell in love with him. She took him out and with the halter on hopped right on his back, he didn't care. He kept flirting with my husband, he knew he's a pushover! She is going to put 30 days on him included in the price and make sure he's "bomb proof". Some may say that 30 days can't do that, but I truly think that it's not training that makes a horse "bomb proof" but their personality. So she'll get him to the point where we can ride him, and he knows his commands, then I can finish him how I want him finished. :D

I hopped on him and you could tell he hadn't been messed with much, he wanted to make you happy but didn't know what you wanted. He is not a quarter horse or a paint, he is actually a POA, again not what I was looking for, lol. His dad is in the POA hall of fame Santee Cody and has taken multiple world championships.

So without further ado, here is Miguel:

And the first day we meet him, when Heather hopped on him.

He kept trying to eat our shoes, he was trying to eat mine when I was on him too. You can see in that picture how wild he is.
He also came with a free trim and horse wash, and I made my SIL throw in a free hoof trim ( she used to do all of Bunny's horses, the owner of Miguel's dad ) but I'll pay her for it just the same. :p

Wish us luck! :wink2:

ETA: He is technically "over height" for a POA, well that and he's solid, but that's fine with me, he's big enough that I don't need a step ladder ( I used to right a 16/1 hand behemoth ) but yet I don't feel like a giant on him. The girls are thrilled!

That is what got me too. He had very loving, compassionate eyes, and he just loves the girls, he would just follow them around.
