Hello everyone!
My name is Viki, I had a standard chinchilla when I was a child (which is a horrible idea to give a chinchilla to child ... meaning child cannot provide and spoil the pet :impatient
My first chinchilla name was ChinChin, the most hardy creature that can endure me. Me being a kid gave tons of human food which is very bad.
Any how he stayed with me a good 10 years before he past =(
10ish years later I am now 22 and have job and constantly checking out the chins in the pet shop... sometimes pretending like I could buy it just so I could hold one for a little while..
One day I picked up a white one (they told me it was a girl) and I could not let him go
meet Mei Mei!!
I assume he's about a month two weeks old. At the pet shop they said he's a girl I had a look and thought he was a boy but didn't have examples in front of me so I guess I was wrong. Up until yesterday I had a good look at him, he is clearly s boy lol. I want to change his name but he's already responding to "Mei Mei" ....
When I wanted to get him I was so happy
When I got him I felt horrible feeling I couldn't provide for him (which isn't true) or not good enough
Now that I have him ... It's really a awesome feeling..

because I can! I spoil him rotten with lots of chew toy and a much better understanding of his digestive system!
