Meet Kiwi, my new Quaker Parrot!

Sweety, renamed Kiwi, made it home with us a couple of days ago. She is totally bonded with me, and now I'm trying to convince her that the rest of the family is ok too, lol. She talks up a storm, laughs, whistles, and kisses. She is so much fun. She is my replacement for Lola, my tiel I lost last summer from a tumor. She loves to be with me constantly, and my neck and shoulders are getting sore from bad posture! Her only drawback is that she is an 8 a.m. alarm clock...hubby has been on swing shift this week and gets home at 1 a.m. I'm trying to teach her to use her indoor voice

And now to introduce my little princess!

thank you everyone! She is a lot of fun, but definitely has a feisty spirit and can be a pill at times! lol. If she would just learn to stop yelling across the room at the parakeets at 7:30 a.m. when I only went to bed around 2...

Good luck with THAT. My 'tiel and parakeets are pretty noisy. But that's part of the fun. Add that into the guinea pigs squeaking and it's like I'm living in a tropical forest. :clap1:
