Meet Katrina!!!

I got a new himalayan rat today!! She is so cute. I named her Katrina. I don't have any pictures to post yet, but I will. I was at petsmart getting supplies and I saw her all alone, I couldn't leave her there. I had one just like her a few years ago named Sabrina. Anyway, so she came home with me. She is such a sweetheart. very tame already. You can tell someone at the store liked her and handled her more then usual. Anyway, she's a cute little girl and I hope to have her around for awhile. :thumbsup:

Congratulations. I can't wait to see pictures. Himalayan is a color type, right? Kind of like a Siamese cat coloring?

Congrats on the new rattie. I love the coloring on a Himalayan.

You should really consider getting another one though. Rats live longer, healthier lives in pairs or more. They are also very busy and need the social interaction of another rat to play with when they are up and about and you aren't home. Plus there's the cuddle factor. It's sad to a lone rat all by him/herself huddled in a hammock. Seeing 2 or 3 or 10 piled into a huge rat pile is awesome.
