So one of my girls likes to bark off once in a while. Its the typical warning bark, multiple times real fast. Some times it will last a very long time.
I'm sure we've all dealt with that before. But she only does it maybe once a weekish. And what iv come to realize over time is that 98% of the time, it occurs on nights that my dad is actually here. 6/7 night of the week he is gone, and my girl always seems to go crazy with the barking on the one night he is here. 0.o
And its not like she doesnt know who he is, or not use to his presence. They wake up at about the same time, and see each other. And she sees him when he comes back in the morning. And she has no problem what so ever taking her daily twig from him when he gets back.
And shes always quite during those times. Its only the nights hes actually here that she goes crazy. And iv seen her do it. She does look legitimately scared most of the time. A few weeks back even, was the first time in 5+ years that iv had a chin refuse a dust bath 0.o
The two other girls in her cage, and the two males in the other cage pretty much ignore her. And the next days shes fine as can be again. (which is more then i can usually say about me, since i get woken up by it at like 3am)
She will often even stand on her ledge and stare right at him and bark. Its strange. After all this time i gotta think.. maybe its personal? lol
