After reading old posts and studying pics, you'd think I'd be able to figure this one out by myself. However, I'd really appreciate your opinion. I rescued Izzie about 5 months ago and was told that "she" is a girl. Currently "she" is about 8 months old.
I'm in the process of adopting a friend for "her" and want to make sure I don't end up with any surprises. She's quite the squirmy little thing. This is the best shot I was able to get.
I don't think there is much space between the anus and the "cone/penis." I tried gently tugging towards her head in the region immediately above the "cone" to see if a penis emerged from a sheath. Nothing happened so I'm guessing that she is in fact a she. What do you think?
I'm including a pic of "her" other end. Despite "her" lack of ears, I think she is the cutest chin!

Oops! I don't think that the pics were attached.

If nothing came out, then I would say it's a female. If it was a male, you surely would have seen him perform a self hair ring check by now.

Yeah, that's a female. She's adorable. But, what happened to her ears?

When I adopted Izzie I was told that her mother "licked" her ears off when she was a kit. Now she lacks any outer ears. Luckily she can hear and is otherwise normal.

That is a girl. I have a sapphire with only one ear. Ears can get injured in fights, during delivery and sibling rilvery rain was one of 5 kits and many bigger breeders don't intervine so her and her siblings fought it out

It's a girl. I have had a mother over groom her kit and chew one ear off. Nibblet, the chin with one ear, looked so darn cute with only one ear.

I'm glad that you love your sweet little baby girl. She's a girl for sure. :)

After nearly twelve years I actually messed up on the sex of one of my babies. Don't feel bad. I went to take pictures of some baby boys for their new owners and I realized that one was a female. Sometimes I wonder how on earth I can do things like that...but it's all part of being human...
