I have 5 males dogs in the house. Cocoa doesn't use the bathroom in the house and he's 12 or 13.
Then I have 2 puppies (Maddox and Felix) which occasionally potty inside but that it different than Territorial Marking, I assume, because it's puddles. They are only 12 weeks old. Mostly use puppy pads still have accidents.
However, I have Demon & Diesel, who recently turned a year old, WON'T stop marking their territory in the house. Every time I turn around I find a spot or catch them.
It is driving my parents crazy! I have to wait until I get the extra cash and I plan on fencing in a large portion of our yard so they can play outside without getting in the woods, chasing a car that might come into the driveway, etc.
Any ideas on how to get them to stop?!?
I've heard mixed stories on neutering them. Some say it works, and some say it won't.
Another issue, Demon feels the need to occasionally mark his territory ON the other dogs while they are outside. He does this the males and female. Any ideas why?
