Male and Female baby...help

When i got a female chinchilla (Chika) from a breeder, they were unaware she was pregnant, month later she had 2 kits (Mister, and Emo). I now have a female and male kit and i am wondering when i need to separate the two of them. They are now 2 months old and i don't want them to breed. I have done tons of research before i got my mother chinchilla, but never expected to have little ones.

Separate them now. Eight weeks is the max they should be allowed to share a cage when they are siblings.

The female kit can stay with mom, but the male kit needs to be removed from the females.

They can breed as young as 10 wks, so you want to seperate them asap as they are approaching that age. I wean my babies at 7-9wks, depending on how big they are.....You should post pics
