Hey im wondering where most people get their sisal rope and stuff like that when they make homeade toys

I think sisal is just wasting your time, it takes two bites and your wood pieces are all over the cage floor getting peed on.

What is usally used when they are held by a rope then?

You can use those very small metal chain link things instead of rope - that way it is refillable.

I usually buy toys that already have those metal chains on them and then I just refill it with my own stuff once they are done.

Rope is not acceptable at all. It can be ingested and cause impaction. Chain or wire is usually the best route if you don't want to have to re-string a toy every 5 minutes!
