Making cage.?

Okayy. so my boyfriend and my father which are carpenters by the way. said they will make me a cage for my chin.. even though I want to just by a FN and get it over with but to make them happy I said they could only if they do what I said and no if and or buts.

Soo.. what materials would I need. I believe its Melamine boards and KD pine.. but i dont know what kind of screen or wire to use.

I'm a huge fan of 1/2" x 1" wire, as if babies ever become an issue, you'll be set. I believe you wanna use 1/2" x 1/2" for the bottoms for their feet, but don't quote me on that.

For the screen I'd recommend 1/2" x 1/2" hardware cloth. It can be readily found at Lowes and Home Depot, though they told me last winter it was a seasonal thing. Usually best found in Spring/Summer/Fall. It looks like this close up.
