Making cage what size ?

I am thinking of making a melamine cage suitable for 3 chinchillas . I need the measurments for it .

General recommendation is 8 cubic feet per chin (2'x2'x2'), so a cage that is 24 cubic feet would be fine. You could do 4'x3'x2' or larger.

4 feet tall , 3 feet wide 2 feet across ?

I would do 4 feet tall, 3 feet across and 2 feet wide. More shaped like a FN 142.
