Making a house out of clay?

I have a ceramics class and I want to make a house for my chin, one he can sit in and on and I already know how I want it to look and how big I want it, but do you think its a good idea, would it keep him cool in summer and the glaze and clay wont harm him I asked my teacher and he said they are both safe and non-toxic, so is this a good idea or not, I want a house for him that he wont destroy in two days and are they any toys I could maybe make him for him out of clay or even out of anything I'm in a mood to make him lots of toys or maybe just other things too, thanks!

You could make a custom food dish, dusting bowl, clay tube to hide in!

Sounds like a fun idea. Just make sure that any clay and glaze are safe for use on food items, so that they are not toxic.

Thanks everyone for your answers, I think i'm gonna make a few little toys, a hay holder and a bridge for my chins!
