What is this guy eating? That's huge for 10 days!! I usually figure around 100 grams a month is pretty good!

It does look to me like it could be cataracts. They look a little milky or something. I would not be too worried though, and bring him when he is weaned and doing great on his own. Cute little guy!

awe he is so cute.....my girls are only a day younger and about 15 grams behind yours....but he gets more milk than they do....lol

Thanks! He is a ham!! Chinniechantel~ They are like a milky/creamy violet. It just blew me away. When he was born, they were really dark, so I thought they would be dark red, but over time lightened and got that milky look. They did have some blue swirls in them, but now there are completely purple. Rickman~ LOL Lianna , born in march, did the same thing. Lianna gained 40 her first week, then 60 her second week. She is almost as big as her daddy now. Both started nibbling on hay the first day. Lianna was drinking from the water bottle her 3rd day. I was amazed!

I tried to introduce my kits to the dust bath today...they watched mom take a bath and then jumped in and tried to eat the dust bath....lol....they are munching on hay now and that is way too cute!!!!! has Maguel gotten into the dust bath yet?

LOL! yeah, he got his first one last night. I took pictures, but will have to down load them. What is with them trying to eat it? Maguel did the same..lol!

What a cutie! Yep he's a big one too! My latest kit was 94 and one week and she is huge now, so expect for yours to keep getting BIGGER and BIGGER!
