So I have a play pen that my boyfriend bought me, but it is the type for dogs and the bar spacing is too wide to use without shooing the boys away constantly. I was very close to investing a lot of money in one of the Marshall Small Pet play pens...but I decided I wanted to look for a less expensive option instead.
I bought four of the 48 X 36 inch tri-fold display boards at walmart (made out of cardboard). They were each $2.97 I believe. I was going to fold it up flat but with the tri fold design it can't be folded up easily. So instead I attached them with velcro (not the heavy duty type, as I thought it would tear the cardboard). I just put it together, and haven't used it yet but it is HUGE, and it seems very sturdy. It is a littler annoying to take apart but that is not a big deal to me.
Here are a couple of pics. You can kind of tell size by comparing it to the FN (it is only apprx 1.5 feet away from it.
