Some of you know I work a weird schedule. I work 3 days a week from 6pm until 7:30am so I sleep during the day. I've adjusted quite well to sleeping during the day, however I do like to wear a sleep mask.
A few weeks ago I got a fairly new mattress. Mom and dad bought a new one as they were using Lisa's and mom felt it was too soft! She said dad kept rolling over on her lol! As Lisa's mattress was only 2 years old and mine was 15 years old I said yep I'll take Lisa's mattress. In the process of ripping off the old sheets in a hurry as the mattress got to me right when I had to head out to work and knew the bed would need to be made up for me to sleep on it in the am the poor sleep mask went missing!
THEN also missing was my digital camera! It was always on the table next the couch, last week I noticed it gone. Of course living in an apartment complex, I'm always paranoid about people coming in and taking things. We did look high and low for the camera and of course I was the last one to use it--or so Stewart said.
Fast forward to today.
Cleaning around my room ( I know! FINALLY!) I discovered the sleep mask underneath the chair at my desk! Since the desk is buried with clothes right now I haven't been sitting at it, hence not pulling out the chair! So yay! sleep mask found!
Just before leaving for work a small shelf fell off of the wall in the kitchen. It's a decorative shelf that holds a little plate and candle votive. Stew came running out right away--as he thought I passed out (why, I'm not sure lol!) anyway I asked him if the plate was broken and he said he couldn't find it. Then I saw him bend over look under the kitchen table and he goes BUT I found the camera! Woot! Now alot of you know I'm not the best housekeeper! I'm sure it would have been at least a month before I was sweeping under the kitchen table! (we never use it!) so there was God giving me my camera in lieu of the toppled shelf!
Sleep mask--was going to get another one one of these days when I hit Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Camera--I WAS GOING TO BUY A NEW ONE FRIDAY! no lie! I can't live without a camera especially since I got and am getting new chin stuff!
I talked to Melissa earlier and said it was too bad I couldn't have found my cowboy MASTER today! LOL! She goes, yep that would have been a perfect day!
Lesson learned:
Be neater, sweep under the table more AND everything happens for a reason!
BTW the plate wasn't broken either!
