Hi I have a 9 month old male that had a castration 1 week ago. he has been fine for the last 5 days but he has slowly lost his appetite and is only drink a little amount of water. I have been adding pro-biotics to his water. He has started to look abit lethargic and is making a squeaking noise now and again. I also noticed his breathing has become faster, I have made an appointment to the vets in the morning. Any idea what could be the problem ? And what I can do to help him ? Thanks

Just an update took him to the vet seems like the left testicle got infected. The vet squeezed most of the puss out and gave me baytril for 10 days. I've had to start syringe feeding him water and food now as he won't get it him self. He is still moving around in the cage but not much. Hopefully the antibiotics kick in soon.

What are you syringe feeding him? Make sure that he is always fed and has some water in his system (as I am sure you are doing). Try and keep noises and stress to a minimum as this could cause his immune system to falter and weaken. Is he still going to the bathroom? I would also recommend minimal exercise outside of the cage (as this will keep everything moving) if he is up for it. If not, let him rest and keep doing what you are doing.
