Loose Stools :(

My chinchilla Gus just started getting loose stools. Last night I saw one spot on his ledge and this afternoon I saw a lot more spots. I gave him a bunch of hay and tried to give him burnt toast but he wouldn't take it.. what else can I do?

What type of food are you feeding him?

You can buy pet pectillin at petco/petsmart in the dog/cat health section and give .3ml twice a day for a couple of days, if it does not clear up, if the poo smells or has a slimey coating or looks like it has holes in it chin needs a vet visit for possible giardia or parasitic/bacterial infection.

is this the right stuff? Its all I could find at the store

Those are the correct ingrediants, the kaolin and pectin. Its fine to use.
