My mom does a grooming shop and wants to sell these collars she's seen, but we can't find the brand of them!

They are a quick release collar and have METAL buckles, not plastic. She thought she had it, but when I checked it out ( alumax.com ) it was just the place that makes the buckles.

Anyone know?

They had similar buckles! But would have to be something that could retail at a reasonable price. I'm guessing they were a basic nylon type color with the quick release type buckles, but the buckles were metal ( aluminum from what I've found)... if any of that helps much?!

I make collars with metal buckles...but you're going to have a tough time finding them cheap because the buckles, even in bulk, are just plain expensive!

Many people won't use them, however, because they don't break away like a plastic buckle will...so if the dog gets snagged or something bad happens, that buckle won't give out like a plastic one will. On the other hand, some people want the metal buckles because their dogs break the plastic buckles just from pulling too hard.

Yeah, I make collars too and the metal buckles are ridiculously expensive compared to plastic!

But here's what I found for you..

KVSupply might have some other types too, I didn't look around that much. I know when I worked at a grooming salon they bought a bunch from PetEdge, but I don't know that they have those types of collars.

Thanks!

I understand that they are more expensive, but one link had them for like $20-30 per collar, and there is no way you can mark that up again to retail it.

:)

I'll let mom know about your guys' collars, maybe she'll order some from you guys! She's slowly building up retail as it's not her main business.
