I finally moved all my chins in one location a little over 2 weeks ago. I kept the two that we next to eachother, still next to eachother and even on the same side. I moved Klinger who was on top of Zucca, next to him.
So I have Richie & Stitch on top & Klinger & Zucca on bottom, all in separate sections of 2 different FN's.

The four of these guys are reacting to the change. they all come togehter on the one side and try to get at eachother thru the bars. Richie on top left & Zucca on bottom right are having the hardest time. Both have had soft poop over that last few days and both have lost weight. Now granted Richie has teeth issues and I have tried to stop handfeeding him so his weight loss is more explainable. Could the stress and the more activity in their cage contribute to significant weight loss and soft poop?
Those two & Klinger run around their cages all day & night. It is crazy.
The other two FN's that I have which are also next to each other (the cages are on kind of an L shape) those 5 guys have NO problems. they all seem to get along.
But this New dynamic quad makes noises that I have never heard! Runs around their cages like nut jobs. 2 have lost weight, 2 have gained weight. the 2 that have lost weight also have softer poop. and they are all just **** bent on trying to get at one another and call to eachother constantly.
Does anyone have any suggesstions or ideas or any input that could help explain or guide me what to do.
Im not sure if I should move them further apart or move them completely or just leave them be to work it out.

Since the odd behavior and physical symptoms you described haven't stopped or gotten a lot better in 2 weeks, I would change the location of each chin until the odd behavior stops. It sounds as though they are stressing each other out and that's not good for them. Stress can cause soft poop and weight loss.

If you aren't giving it already you might want to give all 4 of the males some extra acidophilus.

i was on vacation for 1 of those weeks and the one chin was at a different location because he was being administered medication. the other 3 stayed there. so technically it has only been 1 week.
but still it is crazy how much they are trying to all interact. i guess if it doesnt calm down by the weekend, I will have to move thier cage. and i will add some lifeline or acidolphilus to their food. Thanks!

When Lady's quarentine was over I put her cage next to Lily's. They were about an inch or two apart so they couldn't reach each other physically but I swear WW3 broke out in our home. Lily spent all her time and energy kacking, shaking cage bars, and trying to get to Lady. She also lost weight and poop got softer. I gave it a week and she never settled down so I eventually moved the cages. I just accepted the fact that it wasn't going to work. It took about another week for her to calm down but her weight and poop went back to normal.
