Woke up to a litter of quads this morning to a first time mom. Exciting, but I know I'm in for a lot of handfeedings over the next 7 weeks. Both parents are Bowens bred. 2 standard v/c boys and 2 mosaic v/c girls. Weights are 51, 49, 43 and 40 grams.

Here's a couple of pics for ya.

Mama is very beautiful and can't wait to see how her kits turn out. Congrats on such an adorable litter!

The mom is so pretty and the babies are adorable!! congrats to you. you are definitely going to be busy!! post more pix, i love pix of babies!!!

Hi Nan!

Mom is a violet. Not sure how she ended up with white on the tip of her nose. There is no history of white in her background (according to Gary). Sire was a white mosaic.

You might not have to worry about hand feeding at all.. give mom a chance and she might surprise you.. but do give her the chance first to care for them all.. There has been several moms that has raised quads just fine on their own.. Good luck and congrats on your pretty babies

The two males are attacking the female kits and are keeping them away from mom so I'm rotating them. I have a wonderful surrogate who just finished weaning her kit this last week and has taken kindly to the boys.

wow mom is absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!!! congrats on the quads...they are adorable!!! such a big litter for a first time mommy....she looks so proud and happy!!!
