Licking Pee...??

Very weird question... both of my boys do this, so I'm guessing it's "normal" but wanted to throw it out there and see what other chins do.

When they are in their cages, they both use litter pans and are very good about it. I have a litter pan for outside of the cage when they play, too, which they "sometimes" use... other time, they will mark their territory. I've noticed recently that both of them will pee and turn around and lick it... Do other chins do that? And is that something that's normal? I usually tend to try to stop them and just by saying their names they look up and run to me forgetting about it. Strange creatures!!

I can't believe no-one has had this experience!!!? No thoughts?

There could be mental or medical reasons for it, mental is chins are mental and do strange things, they could be checking out whose scent that is through the urine, medical-excess protein, sugar or salt in the urine from medical conditions could attract the chin, since its both chins and both chins urine I would say its a mental thing.
