Licking her lady bits

I'm really anxious about this. She's been licking her bits a lot lately. I can't see anything wrong and she's eating/pooping/playing/chewing.

Is this normal? Or should we check again for her being a he?

Dang it! Didn't catch it in time. According to pics, definitely a lady!

But we did find she has some crust (?) on her vulva. Definitely little dry patches. See explicit photo below!

Some female chins have a slight discharge when they are in heat. She could just be keeping the discharge cleaned up. It can look crusty when it dries. As long as it is not smelly, she should be fine. It will go away in a few days. If it does not, you may need to take her to a vet.

Thank you! No, she just has little chinchilla smell (dust and hay ) And I couldn't see any oozing. I did read something that said the vaginal opening is only really visible when they're in heat? I could see a bit of it.

I think her behavior last week was pms

(And that's evidence she's pooping :O )
