lemon pepper chicken

So today is my friends b-day and his favorite dish is my lemon pepper chicken-thus what I am making. Even though he is in love with it, I am not. I love to cook and am very good at it, but I just don't make this dish enough to feel like it is good enough to serve (making it for a crap load of people tonight). So I was looking to see what other people have for recipes to see what I might want to add to mine:thumbsup:


Anyone got something yummy for me?!?

I'm a cheater when it comes to lemon pepper chicken. As I told Stackie I go to Piggly Wiggly and get their lemon pepper rotiessiere chicken. My preference in chicken is a honey curry chicken I make.

One time I did make a lemon tarragon chicken, I sliced a lemon very, very thinly, lifted the skin on the chicken and rubbed tarragon under the skin then slide the slices of lemon between the skin and meat of the chicken then roasted it. It was actually very good and I don't know I never made it again! Probably because it felt wrong somehow to violate the already dead chicken by separating the skin from the meat.

I personally think either tarragon or rosemary are excellent spices to compliment chicken.

I also think you're a wonderful person to make something you don't like for your friend!

I love the combination of lemon/pepper on chicken and fish. There is a recipe where you use lemonade mix, pepper, and italian dressing that looks a little too "off" for me.

Ok, I don't have a recipe to add, but had to say that when I read the title, I totally saw "lemon pepper chins." LOL

I do love lemon pepper on chicken and fish, and the lemon and rosemary sounds delicious too. . . ummmm. . . I have to go make dinner now.
