Geez! It's just September, early, and already the huge maple in our front yard is starting to go red! I love fall here in Wisconsin with the gorgeous color changing trees, but I'm not ready for it just yet!

The leaves are just starting to change here. And I am definitely enjoying this nice cool weather. I was sick of the summer heat a while ago!

Fall is gorgeous here. Our leaves are yellow already. But down by the river valley & on campus the trees change to the most beautiful colors. It's a gorgeous sight. Even the trees down 97st turn to gorgeous colors. You'll sometimes see people taking photos of it. I'm one of the odd few that prefers fall/spring over summer.

It's spring here in NZ! The trees are all in bud and the first flowers are opening. And even though its only September some of the Pohutukawa trees are already flowering....they are referred to as "NZ Christmas trees", as they usually flower for Christmas.

I love Autumn the best though....love the browns and reds and oranges, and I love crunching through the falling leaves! Its my fave season too!

Hehe Newt, I forget you're backwards from us! Some of our leaves are changing. I love the colors, but hate vacuuming up all the dead leaves people track into work! I hope we get to go down to NC to see the changes down there!

That must be nice. It's still 90 degrees here. I can't wait until November when I can open my windows and enjoy some cool!

Wow, well you all are lucky you have leaves.. Cacti don’t change season to season... they only get flowers in the spring...

Though, the way I know fall and winter is here is when there are hot air balloons out in the morning. It's so fun to watch.

And just so you can see how close they get to the house

britney--that is so cool!

the reason i love living in NJ is because we do get all four seasons, each one brings something special and a nice little change. but i have to say, i love the fall the most. we probably have a few more weeks before we get some color here in jersey. i love taking long rides, like to the Poconos in PA just to get the full effect of the weather change. it is just so pretty & serene.

I lived in MA for 2 years from 1996 - 1998 I enjoyed seeing the leaves change colors since we don't have that kind of opportunity in So CA.
