Does anyone else have problems with their water bottles leaking-- the glass ones with stoppers? It seems all but one drip with the slightest shake and get the bedding pretty wet.

Is this typical? I switched some to twist top glass bottles but they don't fit the lower runs and take more time to fill.

That's normal for those type of bottles.

Oddly enough the feeders I have are meant to be shaken to move the feed. If you put them on a cage that doesn't get shaken the chins have difficulty getting to the feed unless they shake it themselves. Interesting how runs have been designed to use the attributes of either over the years (shaken vs. non).

my glass water bottles leak often. It has to do with the air pressure (i think) getting messed up any time the bottle moves or potentialy gets used. Most of the time, if i take a paper towle or something and tap then end where the water comes out enough, it starts to not drip again.

If you have the super pet glass water bottle, I used to have the same issue. I found that the metal dispenser can be adjusted. Since the adjustment I haven't had a issue with leaks anymore. I also agree with ^^ it does have to do with the air pressure, sometimes dapping the dispenser a few times will do the trick, if not adjust the metal spout.

I feel like I am always plugging the glass ryerson bottles...probably because I am. I love them! They contain the water pretty well. You will get a drip here and there from the chin bouncing around a lot or something but they are designed so well and are so cheap. I would never go back
