Lava ledges

I went to pick up some stuff for my chin at the pet food store near me, and the lady was saying how'd i need a lava ledge, do i need one if i'm getting wood ledges for her, and other wood toys?

You don't necessarily need one. But I know a lot of chins like to chew on them. Maybe you will get lucky and get a chin who really likes the lava ledges and won't chew on the wood ledges. Lol

You don't NEED them, but most chins do like them. Einstein does a really good job of breaking the stone part off of the hardware, so they usually just end up as chew toys instead of ledges.

my chins sort of like lava ledges but they perfer the pumic block i got for for them.
im also lucky and my chins dont chew wood ledges possibly cause i have like 10 toys in their cage.
they chew on everything else in their cage though

Ours loves her lava ledge. She doesn't really chew on her wooden ones.

Ours doesn't chew them, but loves to jump from ledge to ledge and sit on them. They are great for mixing up your cage design because you can move them around easily.

when i put a lava ledge in, most of my guys will eventually end of leaving me just the screw as they will munch it until it falls off and for a good week straight i pick up chunks of lava. but they seem to have a blast!

Mine LOVE lava ledges. Definitely their favorite chew toy. I bought them the little pumice stone chew toys, they won't have anything to do with them. Something about lava ledges is just that much better.

Ours love the and chew them all day, but no matter how little of the ledge is left, I always catch them hanging out on them.

Maia's favorite spot is on her lava ledge. I'd seriously fear for my life if I ever had to remove it.
